Queretaro is one of the safest cities in Mexico. It is very similar to any medium sized city in the United States. As it goes with traveling to any city within the US or foreign country, we recommend taking care of your belongings and staying in touristic areas.

If you are limited on time we suggest a Thursday/Friday arrival with a Sunday departure. For those wanting to explore more, we suggest adding a day or two on to the beginning or end of the trip. San Miguel de Allende or Bernal would be a great way to spend an extra day.

Renting a car is not necessary and we suggest not renting a car. When you land you can simply get an Uber to the hotel and everything will be walking distance.

The weather can have some swings. Expect it to be hot during the day and cool off at night. We suggest small jackets when the sun goes down.
